Canteen

Canteen is a lifeline for young Australians aged 12-25 who are dealing with the devastating impact of cancer. Whether they’re facing the illness themselves or supporting a loved one who is, Canteen provides essential mental health support to help them cope with the emotional challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis.

The Challenge

Canteen faces a unique set of challenges in their mission to support 12-25-year-olds impacted by cancer. Because their focus is on mental health, they often don’t receive the same level of recognition or funding as charities dedicated to cancer research. Yet, their work is crucial—helping young people navigate the emotional and psychological toll that cancer brings, whether they’re battling the disease themselves or supporting a loved one.

As the number of kids affected continues to rise, Canteen struggles to grow quickly enough to ensure no one is left without support, especially those in rural areas who might feel even more isolated.

Our Solution

At Pride Promotions, we understand the importance of bringing Canteen’s mission to the forefront. Through our face-to-face fundraising, we help put a spotlight on their incredible work by connecting directly with the public. We book events where our team can engage one-on-one with individuals, sharing the stories of the young people Canteen helps and highlighting why their support is so critical.

By speaking with compassion and urgency, we encourage people to become regular supporters, ensuring Canteen can continue to expand and reach every young person in need, no matter where they are.
